Tangerang police officers prepare thousands of confiscated VCDs and DVDs (photo) to be bulldozed at police headquarters in Tangerang on Tuesday.
The police also destroyed bottles of liquor, firecrackers, fake medicines and gambling machines which were seized in several raids over the past three months.
Tangerang Deputy Mayor Deddy Safe'i and Tangerang Police Chief Sr. Comr. Iza Fadri led the ceremony.
Meanwhile, in Jakarta, four people were arrested for possession of crystal methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana in a raid in Kampung Ambon, West Jakarta.
City police deputy chief Brig. Gen. Raziman Tarigan said police confiscated 242 grams of marijuana, 28.1 grams of crystal meth and 69.5 grams of heroin. --JP/08/Multa Fidrus
